Four Reasons to Travel via Boat Instead of Car or Plane

Traveling can be a challenge in and of itself. You have to plot your destination, plan your budgets, map out the attractions you want to see and places you want to go, and then find the perfect travel companion or opt to go solo. Then there’s transportation to get there.

While cars and planes are most popular, boats have come a long way too. Here are a few reasons to consider making your way to your vacay via boat.

Less Expensive Travel via Boat

Boats are often less expensive in the long run because you pay all-inclusive fees that cover what you would normally spend on snacks and entertainment elsewhere. Sure, a cruise could be moreso expensive, but there’s the less popular, but still considerable and awesome option of traveling via your own boat, like a yacht.

Plot Your Own Destination as Your Own Captain

If you travel via your own boat, you can be your own captain with a crew that follows your directions to the destination of your choice. You can plot your own way, complete with well-researched ports to stop and a slew of little islands or attractions to dock along the way.

Explore Off-the-Path Islands and Remote Locations

There are a bunch of off-the-path islands and remote locations to explore on the open oceans. While some are lowkey popular for fellow sailors and yachtsman, others are rarely explored, giving you and your crew a chance to reign (respectfully) on pristine seashores before heading back on track to your mapped-out destination.

Tip: Before embarking on your journey, study a map and search engines to get an idea of where you’d like to stop and possibly make camp for a night island-wise. Plan those stops—be them at North Carolina oceanfront rentals, or on the seashore of some long-forgotten paradise.

Sailing Can Be Serene and Soothing to Your Mind, Body, and Soul

Whether by sailboat, cruise ship, or yacht, there’s something soothing and serene to being on the oceans, with nothing but beautiful blue waves for miles in every direction. It’s a calm that sets over your mind, body, and soul; one that can be beneficial to refocusing your ambition and strengthening your resolve in the face of everyday stressors.

: Exploring The USA: Everything You Need To Know If You’re Visiting From Overseas

The US is a great place for Americans to explore, let alone visitors from different countries. If you’re thinking of heading over and checking this beautiful country out, these travel tips will help you to make the most if your stay.

Planning your visit

There’s no hiding the fact that America is vast. If you’re only stopping for a couple of weeks, you’ll need to plan ahead to make sure you see the best we have to offer. Before you start looking at dates and flights, do some research online to see what you need to travel. Visitors from most countries will require a tourist visa. You can apply for one online at official-esta.com. It’s also always a good idea to check your passport. If your passport has expired or it’s due to run out soon, you may need a replacement.

Once you’ve got all your papers in order, the fun bit begins. Think about the kind of vacation you want to plan. Do you want to spend all your time in one area, or are you keen to get out and about? Have you always dreamed of planning an authentic US road trip? Or are you planning to hop from one city to another? If you’re staying in one place, planning your holiday should be straightforward. If you’re moving around, it may take a little more time.

Getting around

In the US, we’re blessed with excellent transport links, which make it easy to get around. Most large towns and cities have an airport, and you can also take advantage of rail and bus services. If you’re visiting major cities, like New York, you’ll find that the subway is often the best option to avoid traffic. If you’re channeling Thelma and Louise, look into car hire online. You can compare prices, and often rates are more competitive. You could also consider renting an RV, which would save you a lot of money on hotels.

US customs and useful travel information
The currency in the US is the US dollar. It’s always wise to have cash on you, as we’re big on tipping, but cards are accepted almost everywhere. There are fifty states, and each one has slightly different rules. If you’re unsure about what’s legal and what’s not, always double check. The legal drinking age is 21, rather than 18 like it is in many European countries.

Many visitors to the US focus on New York and Los Angeles. But it’s such a shame to devote all your time and attention to just two cities. If you have time, get out into the national parks, and travel around. You’ll quickly learn that there’s much more to America than neon lights and skyscrapers. You’ll find more useful travel tips at pages like http://www.roughguides.com/article/18-things-everyone-should-know-before-visiting-the-usa/.

4 Good Reasons To Book A Camping Staycation This Summer

The US is vast, and it affords the opportunity to enjoy all kinds of different types of vacation. If you’re planning your next trip, why not swap foreign climes for a camping staycation? If you’re not convinced yet, here are four good reasons, which may persuade you to book that camping trip.

  1. Freedom to explore

In America, we have excellent transport links, and it’s possible to drive almost anywhere without too much bother. Campsites are also abundant. This means that you have so much freedom to explore, move around and enjoy a whole host of experiences. One day, you can pitch up and listen to the rolling ocean waves. The next day you could be staring into a deep canyon or watching whales. When you hire an RV or take your car on a road trip, you have freedom to move at your leisure. You can pull over wherever you want to take photographs, and your itinerary is not set in stone.

  1. Budget-friendly travel

It’s no secret that vacations can be expensive. Camping is a budget-friendly option. You can spend as much or as little as you like. Once you’ve booked campsites or paid for your RV, your outgoings should be limited. You can cook your own food to save money and choose activities, such as fishing and hiking, to keep you entertained. You’ll have to pay for gas, but you can use apps to look out for the lowest prices.

  1. The great outdoors

The US is blessed with some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. A camping holiday is a fantastic way to get out into the great outdoors and see the sights. Before you go, select an area to visit and plan your route. Do some research into national parks and natural wonders and draw up a rough itinerary. Planning ahead will ensure that you don’t miss anything. There are so many incredible sights to see. But highlights include Yosemite National Park, the Great Smoky Mountains, and the Everglades. The Grand Canyon is a must-see for all Americans and Yellowstone National Park is one of the most beautiful spots on Earth.

  1. Adventure activities

If you’re an adrenaline junkie or you love to test your mettle, adventure travel should be right up your street. When you’re camping by forests, waterfalls, and national parks, there’s so much scope to try new things and challenge yourself. Don those hiking boots or grab your fishing rod. Try your hand at rock climbing or navigate the roaring rapids. Abseil down a canyon or zip line through the glades. No two days will be the same and you’ll have memories (and photographs) to cherish forever.

As you all know that me and my husband is working in one of the casino resort here in California which the Pechanga resort & casino then occasionally we do gets some free accomodation from the other hotels and casino to try on. Yes! that’s how we enjoy the benefits on working to the field where all the enjoyment and playful activities are free to avail. That’s why we really took advantage when every time we got this invitation to the other casino to have fun..

 photo FB_IMG_1438175980923_zpslmntrnfo.jpg

This recently, one of our good friend invited us to Pala for one night accommodation and trying out on what’s the hotel has to offer. We’ve stayed on the very cozy room that has its own jacuzzi in it which I truly enjoy, indeed! because not all the time I can have myself lied into a bubble with kind of aromatic sense that can truly relaxed me as I did. As for the room rate, I am telling you it does shocked me hugely as it was costly to stay in here but am telling you it’s worth to stay still as they can offer only the best and gives you all the convenient you look forward to in the hotel. But if you were asking me, as a normal people and haven’t that much a lot of bucks to spend I wont definitely consider it as there’re a lot of not so luxurious hotel around California but if you really want an once in a lifetime experience then I’ll definitely recommend your stay here, Pala Resort & Casino. Take note they can even offer a buffet lunch and dinner for free in some time.

Indeed! this hotel is one of the best hotel I have been too here in California which I know tourists like yourself will be surely enjoy yourself as you consider to stay here. 🙂

My Golden Rules for Driving Across the USA

I love exploring the USA whenever I have the chance. When we go away, we often go to one place and stick around. We enjoy the hotel and maybe walk around to explore the rest of the area. If you want to see more of the country when you’re in America, it’s much easier if you can drive. It can be very hard to get around without a car, especially in some places more than others. Driving can be an excellent way to get around the country if you want to see a lot of one area or go even further. But I know it can be hard, especially when you’re used to driving in another country. So here are my top tips for driving around the USA.

Learn the Local Laws

It can be difficult to learn all the local road laws wherever you go. Every time you go somewhere new, you might have to check up on some regulations you don’t know. Even lots of locals are unaware of some of their traffic laws. But you can still do your best to follow along with the rules. You should read about some of the main directions you’ll need to follow, like how to follow traffic signals and when you can overtake on a freeway. Try not to worry too much. If you’re usually a good driver, you should do well.

Choose the Best Vehicle for Your Purposes

If you want to have an awesome driving experience, you should choose the best vehicle. As well as thinking about what you can drive, you should consider the rest of your trip. If you want to travel long distances and stop when you like, you might want to have an RV. If you live in the US, you can buy one to use again and again. They make excellent vehicles for long or short holidays. On the other hand, you might prefer something small and compact. A lot of people don’t like handling a larger vehicle.

Plan Your Route

When you’re going somewhere new, it’s always best to know how you’re going to get there. I think it’s a good idea to plan out your whole route first. You can leave it up to your satnav, but you might want to take a closer look to see where it’s taking you. There are some things you can keep in mind. For example, you might wish to avoid freeways, which you can do with lots of route planners. You might need to make sure there are lots of places to stop along the way – especially if you have kids with you!

Keep a List of Emergency Contacts

I like to be prepared and cautious, so I recommend having some emergency phone numbers. Apart from being able to call emergency services, there are some other contacts you might need. If you break down, it will be helpful to be able to call a service to help you. Or perhaps you might want to call a local information service to find out where the nearest hotel or gas station is.

Traveling by car is one of the best ways to get around the country. Whether you live here or come from abroad, you can have so much fun.

Enjoying at Napa valley home of the wine country

 photo FB_IMG_1444888181292_zpsunq6wahk.jpg

Hooray for the day! Yes! we really enjoyed our stayed in Sanfo as you went through these awesome places that we couldn’t imagine to went through. Actually, I am not familiar with this place called Napa valley home of the wine country in San Francisco until I’ve watched the Filipino Drama ” On the wings of love” where they’ve got a chance to have a shoot their scenes in this beautiful and nature love place which has a lot of grapes planted – as you can see on the photo on top.

Husband and Me had drove for like 7 hours in total including the stop over just to reached at this place, good thing that we’ve got an week off from work hence we don’t have to rush things just to compile at work.

 photo FB_IMG_1444888198189_zpsgndahugp.jpg

We actually went here with friends but due with the excitement we forgot though to have a snap together because they did went immediately to the wine house which is on the other part of the place.

You can see the photo of the wine house below:

 photo FB_IMG_1444888204301_zpsci7oho59.jpg

A lot of barrels of wine and here where they can ferment it for the great taste of the wine. I think, they should stored the wine for like at least 3 years before they can sell it in the market.

New year’s celebration

 photo jena_zpsbfcyru8p.jpg

First off, lemme greet you all a happy new year and I wish all the best this whole new year and have all your dreams came true by working on it in the hardest you can, of course.

Recently, actually on the the new year day , January 1 2016, me and my husband decided to have our little celebration for us to thank all the blessing that our Lord God had poured us this previous year 2015. Indeed, we were blessed enough in both career and love which our relationship became more strongest this year as we overcome all the hardest trials we’ve been bump into. Luckily, there’s no such tragic happened in both of our family. Which I truly thank you for big time, and hopefully this year ahead, 2016, will be also that fine like the previous one.

Husband and me had checked in in the finest hotel in California for a night for us to experience on how to feel luxurious beside it’s just once a year to happened hence we should enjoy it much though the accommodation on this hotel is quite beyond our budget.. hehe But I’d look forward that someone who owns a hotels there that’s currently reading me here would take me as their blogger and review their awesome room for us to try.. hahah Hopefully I can get such offer soon..

Travel: Off to somewhere

 photo 20141022_183738_zpssnblg3dp.jpg

Luckily, me and the hubby are shared the same interests which is traveling. Though, sometimes we used to like to be lied down and think randomly but most of the time you could see us driving or riding the plane in no time, especially if we could got some time off from work.

Recently, while there’s an renovating happening in our work place. We decided then to have 5 days off since managements are liking us to have a break while the construction is going on. Yes! good thing that happened. We flew over Cheney Washington just to meet my grandmother and aunt who are decades of years resides in there.

 photo 20141022_094103_zpsmipuext7.jpg

As we landed to Washington, I rented a car over the airport for 20$ a day and we supposed to used it for like 4 days because grandma’s house is 5 hours away from the airport which is quite tiring travel uh!

Okay, that will be all for now as I keen to make another post for my Washington tour. Thank you and I can smell the breeze of holidays here and I hope you have a fun day ahead over there.
